I created Great Group Coaching for you!
With 30 years of experience facilitating groups and delivering group coaching, I’m here to share everything I’ve learned about the incredible power of group coaching.
I’ve led group coaching in education, community, and leadership settings and designed training programmes to help others do the same. Through my academic research, where I explored group coaching in depth, I distilled my insights into a clear, accessible framework.
Now, I’m excited to help you create transformative group coaching experiences with confidence and ease.
About Great Group Coaching
Why Great Group Coaching?
I’ve always been fascinated by groups—how they bring people together, create connection, and unlock growth. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of leading group experiences in education, community, and leadership settings. One thing remained constant: when a group is well-structured and thoughtfully facilitated, engagement is high, and people stay.
As I transitioned from education into community and charity work, I saw firsthand the deep impact that great group experiences can have. This led me to study Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology at MSc level, where I explored the science behind groups. I discovered how they can reduce isolation, enhance emotional intelligence, and improve the way we connect with others. While not everyone thrives in groups, I believe that more great groups can help combat loneliness and create positive social change.
Yet, I also know that leading groups can feel daunting. Understanding group dynamics, managing engagement, and creating a transformational experience isn’t always intuitive. Through my research, hands-on experience, and years of practice, I’ve developed a structured approach to group coaching that makes it easier for facilitators to succeed.
That’s why I founded Great Group Coaching (GGC)—to help coaches, educators, and community leaders deliver outstanding group experiences with confidence.

My aim is to help you design and deliver group experiences that not only meet your goals but provide a truly great experiences for your members.
With 30 years of experience delivering, participating in, and studying what makes groups great, I draw on my own research and evidence-informed theories to help you create meaningful, engaging, and effective group coaching environments. My goal is to present this content in a way that’s clear, connected, and confidence-boosting, so you can easily and confidently apply it.
I'm committed to doing this not just for our benefit, but so your future group members leave with an experience so great that they become raving fans, eager to share their positive experience with others!
