Both options give you access to the complete Flight-Plan™ course, live carousel sessions, and the crew community. The difference is in duration and outcomes:
Short Haul (£750, 6 months) – Full course and community access, with support up to Milestone 2. No CPD hours, no certification, and no 1:1 milestone feedback.
Long Haul (£1,200, 12 months) – Extended access, full milestone feedback (including 1:1 Pilot’s Log review), CPD hours, and certification as a Great Group Coach™.
-
Yes. You can upgrade within 6 months for £500. This unlocks milestone 3 feedback, CPD recognition, and certification, and extends your access to the full 12 months.
-
Onboarding is required before you join live sessions. If you can’t attend your scheduled intake, you’ll be moved to the following month’s onboarding. In rare cases, a private onboarding may be available at an additional fee.
-
Not at all. Flight School™ is designed for coaches and mentors who have 1:1 experience but are new to groups — or want a clearer structure for running them. If you can coach one person, this will help you coach a group with confidence.
-
Flight School™ is built on both academic research (MSc-level study into group coaching) and 20+ years of experience in education and leadership. It’s evidence-informed, practical, and step-by-step — giving you a reusable framework (the Flight-Plan™) you can apply to every future group.

Your seat contributes to funding community access places through our Open Skies social impact model. This model is in development stages at the moment, but is expected to go live in the autumn of 2026. Please reach out if you would like more information.
-
Time required for Flight School™ is flexible. Participants can spend between 3–12 hours a month between self-paced learning, live sessions, and community engagement. If you’re aiming for CPD certification, you’ll also deliver your own group programme (requiring a minimum of four group coaching sessions) during your Long Haul journey.
Short Haul (£750, 6 months) – Full course and community, with group support up to Milestone 2. No CPD hours, no certification, and no 1:1 milestone feedback.
Long Haul (£1,200, 12 months) – Extended access, to all above, plus support as you deliver your own group coaching programme, and recieve full milestone feedback (including 1:1 Pilot’s Log review), CPD hours, and certification as a Great Group Coach™.
-
Replays of carousel sessions are available in the community. You’ll still need to meet minimum live attendance if you’re aiming for CPD certification, but there are multiple session types to choose from.
-
Yes, in part. Great Group Coaching™ awards up to 24 CPD hours, which can be used as evidence toward EMCC credential requirements. However, it’s not ICF accredited or a full accreditation by itself.
-
Great Group Coaching™ is a professional development programme for coaches and mentors, so it may qualify as a deductible business expense. Please confirm with your accountant. However, please be aware we are not currently VAT registered.
-
You’ll have access to:
The Flight-Plan™ Course (self-paced videos, tasks, and worksheets).
Monthly carousel live sessions (onboarding, milestone celebrations, deep dives, Q&A/peer supervision).
A private community space for connection and support.
A runway of support to ensure you get the right help, when you need it.
Everything is delivered online, so you can join from anywhere.
Live sessions are currently scheduled for 3pm GMT. If you require an alternative time zone, please do get in touch! We can’t promise but we won’t know there’s a need unless you ask!
-
Long Haul graduates receive their CPD certificate and Great Group Coach™ recognition at our celebration event. You’ll also join the alumni community, where you can continue connecting and learning with other group coaches. Short Haul participants leave after Milestone 2, unless they choose to upgrade.

No. Great Group Coaching™, Flight School™ and the Flight Plan™ are part of an educational programme designed for professional development in group coaching. There is no access to therapy, crisis support, or clinical treatment. While the community is encouraging and supportive, your wellbeing remains your own responsibility.
